Arch Express Courier Service Moves to Accommodate Growth

Arch Express, St. Louis' premier local courier service, is moving to 135 A Weldon Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO on August 17 to accommodate its growing business. The move and expansion are in response to increased demand for Arch Express' next-day, cross-docking services; the new location is three times larger than the previous site, 2382 Centerline Industrial, St. Louis, MO, and has double the docks for incoming and outgoing shipments.

In addition to increasing the square footage of their warehouse area, Arch Express is also updating the office space in the new location. This includes a new dispatch room-control central for all delivery communications.

"Our business has grown tremendously over the last year," says Anna Goessling, President and Co-Owner of Arch Express. "We've hired several new employees and drivers to meet the demand and ensure we continue to provide the same trusted and reliable service for which we are known."

In the last year, Arch Express has increased their employee count by 65%, and expanded their driver force by 20%. Additionally, the company recently hired a Director of Operations, Matt Brown, to streamline daily operations, manage drivers and dispatchers, and track and analyze metrics to improve efficiencies.

"We're excited to welcome Matt," says John Goessling, the company's Co-Owner and CFO. "His experience in the delivery industry and his outstanding management skills make him the right candidate for the job. Anna's time can now be solely focused on business development."

This news comes on the heels of Arch Express's Owner, Anna, being honored as one of Small Business Monthly's (SBM) Top Women Business Owners of 2018. She was selected as a recipient, in part, due to Arch Express’s 2017 growth. The company projects similar growth by the end of 2018, and anticipates hiring two additional employees within the next 12 months.
